Dr. Aminul obtained Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Science (MS) in Medicine degrees from Bangladesh Agricultural University in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He also obtained Master of Science in Tropical Animal Health (MSTAH) degree majoring animal disease control from Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM), Antwerp, Belgium in 2014. He completed PhD from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Tokyo, Japan in 2020.<\/p>\n

After a very short period of private job, he joined as Lecturer in the department of Medicine & Surgery, Faculty of Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine, Patuakhali Science and Technology University (Barisal campus) in 2009 and served there up to June 2012. He also worked as Officer in Charge (additional charge), Veterinary Clinic, Patuakhali Science and Technology University from 2011 to 2012. In July 2012, he joined as lecturer in the department of Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, Gazipur Agricultural University. In July 2013 he upgraded as Assistant Professor, in July 2020 as Associate Professor, and July 2024 as a full Professor in the department of Medicine.<\/p>\n

He awarded National Science and Information and Communication Technology (NSICT) fellowship, Government of the People\u2019s Republic of Bangladesh in 2007 when he was a master student in the department of Medicine, Bangladesh Agricultural University. He got Directorate General for Development (Belgian Government) Scholarship in 2013 for studying MSTAH at ITM, Antwerp, Belgium. In 2016 he awarded Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT) for doctoral study in the department of Agricultural & Environmental Engineering, United Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. He also awarded a travel grant for presenting his PhD work in international conference.<\/p>\n

During his Master of Science (MS) in Medicine degree, he conducted research on antibiotic resistance of bacteria. During his Master of Science in Tropical Animal Health (MSTAH) degree, his research focused on diagnosis of cysticercosis by Ag-ELISA with monoclonal antibodies stored in different storage options. During his PhD research he has engaged in measuring different sizes of particle\/aerosol number concentration in dairy houses; measuring concentration, molecular characterization and mitigation of bacterial bioaerosols in dairy environment. His PhD research work was presented in several international conferences in United States of America, Japan, and Singapore. He published 33 research articles in different scientific journals.<\/p>\n

Dr. Aminul is a professional veterinarian and registered with \u201cBangladesh Veterinary Council\u201d. He is a life member of \u201cBangladesh Association for the Advancement of Science (BAAS)\u201d and “Japanese Universities Alumni Association in Bangladesh (JUAAB)”. He is also a member of \u201cbe-troplive\u201d (The Belgian Platform on Tropical Animal Health and Production). He is the editorial board member of “Discover Animals” and an invited reviewer of several international peer reviewed scientific journals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
