Personal Statement


Anik is a committed academic and researcher with 3 years of experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, agricultural research, and teaching. Since May 22, 2023, he has been serving as a lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, where he is actively engaged in both teaching and research. Before this, he held the position of a scientific officer at the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) from November 2021 to May 2023. His research focuses on molecular responses to abiotic stress, genetic diversity analysis, host-microbe interactions and biochemical pathways involved in crop resilience and development. Anik has authored 9 peer-reviewed research articles reflecting his strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering innovation in biochemistry, molecular biology and agricultural biotechnology. He is passionate about transcriptomics with a strong foundation in biochemistry, microbiology and molecular biology.
