Erin Zaman is a dedicated academic and researcher in agronomy, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Agronomy at Gazipur Agricultural University. Since joining the university in 2016, she has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic service, contributing to the development of agricultural education and research in Bangladesh. She completed her Master of Science (MS) in Agronomy in 2015 and her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agriculture in 2013 from the same university, achieving CGPA of 4.00 in both degrees and securing the top position in her department and faculty. Her outstanding academic performance reflects her strong commitment to excellence and scholarly pursuits. In addition, she has received several prestigious awards in recognition of her academic excellence. She was honored with the Prime Minister Gold Medal (2012) for outstanding academic performance. In 2014, she obtained the NSICT Fellowship from the Government of Bangladesh to support her MS research work. She also received Merit Scholarships from during both her undergraduate (2009) and postgraduate studies, reflecting her consistent academic achievement. Her research interests focus on crop productivity, stress tolerance, and sustainable agricultural practices. She has conducted studies on drought tolerance in rice, zinc enrichment in wheat, allelopathic effects on seed germination, and crop performance under water stress. These research areas are highly relevant to addressing climate change challenges and improving food security. She has published several research articles in national and international journals, covering topics such as nitrogen management in rice, stress tolerance in crops, and agronomic practices. She has also participated in various professional trainings, including scientific writing and climate change adaptation. Overall, these achievements highlight Erin Zaman’s consistent academic excellence and strong research potential. Her dedication, hard work, and commitment to agronomic research have established a solid foundation for her professional career. She continues to contribute meaningfully to higher education and agricultural development in Bangladesh.
