Research Focus<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Nure Jannat is a veterinary anatomist specializing in neuroanatomy. Her research focuses on veterinary anatomy and neuropathology, with particular emphasis on neurodevelopmental disorders such as hydrocephalus. She investigates the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying ventricular pathology, highlighting the roles of inflammatory responses and cytoskeletal remodeling in the brain. Using both naturally occurring and genetically engineered animal models, she has examined the involvement of cytoskeletal proteins, including \u03b1-smooth muscle actin (\u03b1-SMA), in ventricular wall alterations.<\/p>\n

In addition to her neuroscience research, Dr. Jannat is interested in ocular biology, specifically how inflammation, cellular signaling pathways, and cytoskeletal dynamics contribute to ocular pathology and tissue remodeling. Her work integrates histological and molecular techniques to analyze structural and functional changes in both brain and ocular tissues.<\/p>\n

She has extensive expertise in routine histology, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, cytochemistry, Western blotting, PCR, and cell culture. Her research aims to investigate physiological processes and disease mechanisms, utilizing advanced translational approaches to improve the diagnosis and treatment of cerebral ventricular and vision-related disorders.<\/p>\n
