A. Mannan covers the physiology related problems, environmental stress and stress mitigation specially salinity and drought on field crops. Dr. Mannan gained excellence on analysis of crop growth processes under stressful environment in his Ph. D course. His direction of research is to understand the adaptation mechanisms of crops under environmental stress conditions. The present thrust of his work is on the crop X environment interaction, especially response of C3 plants under salinity\/ water \/ plant nutrients stress conditions.<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>(Two) years research experience in the <strong>salt tolerant soybean project<\/strong> at Bangabandhu Sheikh MujiburRahman Agricultural University, Gazipur, Bangladesh.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>Experienced in the project on \u2018<strong>Screening of mungbean genotypes in coastal belt of Bangladesh<\/strong>\u2019 financed by BINA during 1998-1999.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>Research Fellow of National Science Information Communication and Technology (NSICT) in the Year of 1996-97, 2002-03, 2014-15, 2015-16. 2015-16<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>Experienced as Project Director in the Project on \u201c<strong>Alleviation of the Adverse Effects of Salt Stress by Foliar Application of Sodium Antagonistic Essential Minerals on Soybean (<\/strong><em>Glycine max)\u201d <\/em>financed by PSTU during 2009-10.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>Experienced as Project Director in the Project on \u201c<strong>Study the Variation of Soybean Yield and Protein Content to Foliar and Soil Fertilization<\/strong><em>\u201d <\/em>financed by PSTU.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>Experienced as Principal Investigator in the Project on \u201c<strong>Adaptation of Cowpea to Saline Ecosystem in Bangladesh<\/strong>\u201d financed by Ministry of Science and Technology, GOB.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>Experienced as Project Director in the Project on \u201c<strong>Adaptability of Mustard Genotypes to Salinity<\/strong><em>\u201d <\/em>financed by University Grants Commission, Bangladesh.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>Experienced as Principal Investigator in the Project on \u201c<strong>Study the Variation of Soybean Yield and Protein Content to Foliar and Soil Fertilization<\/strong>\u201d financed by PSTU.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<h3>Experienced as ASPM in the Project on \u201c<strong>Strengthening the Research Capacities of Agronomy Department, PSTU funded by HEQEP
