Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am Bushra Islam Binte, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Soil Science, Gazipur Agricultural University (former Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University), Bangladesh. I was born on 13th August, 1995 in the district of\u00a0 Sirajganj of\u00a0 Bangladesh.\u00a0 I have\u00a0 completed secondary education from Saleha Ishaque Govt. Girls High School,\u00a0 Sirajganj in\u00a0 2011\u00a0 and\u00a0 higher\u00a0 secondary education from Sirajganj Govt. College, in 2013 securing GPA 5.00 out of 5.00 in the both exam. I have achieved\u00a0 Bachelor of\u00a0 Science\u00a0 (BS)\u00a0 degree in\u00a0 Agriculture\u00a0 from\u00a0 Gazipur Agricultural University (Former BSMRAU), Bangladesh in 2017\u00a0 with\u00a0 CGPA 3.96\u00a0 out of\u00a0 4.00 ranking\u00a0 3rd<\/sup> position\u00a0 out of 133\u00a0 students. I have also received Master of Science (MS) degree in Soil Science in 2019 from\u00a0 Gazipur Agricultural University (Former BSMRAU), obtaining CGPA 3.99 out of 4.00 (2nd<\/sup> position). During my MSc studies, I conducted research on \u201cEffect of Long- Term Application of Rice straw on Soil Health\u201d where\u00a0 I examined key physio-chemical properties of soil at variable depths to understand how continuous residue incorporation influences soil quality.<\/p>\n

I have joined as a Lecturer at the department of Soil Science, Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU), Bangladesh on 7th December, 2020. Then I was promoted to Assistant Professor on 28th January, 2023 and sitll on to go. Currently, I am involving in several teaching courses and research projects.<\/p>\n

Conducting\u00a0 research\u00a0 focusing\u00a0 \u00a0on Physical characteristics of soil, Fertilizer management, Improvement of soil health and nutrition, Irrigation management, Soil and water conservation, Soil-plant interactions, Carbon sequestration and Climate change.<\/p>\n
