In accordance with this main goal, the students will know how pollutants behave in environmental media (air, water, and soil), how human beings are exposed to the pollutants, how adverse human health effects occur, what are the environmental standards and the relations among these topics.\u00a0 The students will understand environmental risk levels to make management decisions. Various aspects of climate change, global warming, biodiversity conservation, environmental impact assessment, pollution control, and waste management will be covered.
