Marium Khatun<\/strong> was born, on 16 June, 1996 in Jashore district of Bangladesh. He was the eldest daughter of Md. Mokbul Hossain and Tahamina Begum. She received both of her Bachelor of Science securing CGPA 3.95\u00a0 out of 4.00 and Master of Science securing CGPA 4.00 out of 4.00 in 2018 and 2020 respectively from Gazipur Agricultural University. She had completed her SSC and HSC securing GPA 5.00 out of 5.00 in both examination from Fakirhat High School in 2011 and. from Noapara Mahila College in 2013 respectively. M. Khatun<\/strong> started her service on 16 July 2022 as an Assistant Plant Breeder of the Research and Development Department of Lal Teer Seed Limited, Bashon, Gazipur. On 19 March 2023, she was appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding in Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU). The MS dissertation title was \u201cGenomic Prediction for Yield and Yield Contributing Traits in Rice<\/strong>\u201d. M. Khatun<\/strong> is the author of 14 publications<\/strong> published in different national and international reputed journals, and books under different reputed Publisher. She is conducting research on development of parental material development of different vegetables including bottle-gourd, snake-gourd, ridge-gourd, muskmelon, tomato; and hybrid development; rice breeding for quality grain and stress tolerance; pulse (chickpea, lentil, pigeonpea) breeding; flax seed breeding for getting high yielding and good quality flax seed; good quality chia development and so on. M. Khatun is very much interested to work on Genomic Selection and Molecular Breeding, Precision Genome Editing (CRISPR= Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats), Biofortification and Nutritional Quality, Climate Resilience and Abiotic Stress, High-Throughput Phenotyping (HTP), Speed Breeding as well as conventional breeding procedures.<\/span><\/p>\n ORCID:<\/span>\u00a0https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-6248-7067<\/a><\/span> \n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Marium Khatun was born, on 16 June, 1996 in Jashore district of Bangladesh.
