  2. Organized as a host Work Package (WP) meeting for WP 1.1 & 1.3 of UKRI GCRF South Asian Nitrogen Hub (SANH) at the Hotel Lake Castle, Dhaka, Bangladesh on 19-20 and 23 June 2022.
  3. Organized as a host the Launching Event of 2nd Sub-Regional Joint SACEP/SANH Nitrogen Framework Policy Report on 21-22 June 2022 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
  4. Organized ‘South Asia Regional Demonstration’ workshop as a host under the aegis of International Nitrogen Management Systems (INMS) at the Hotel Lake Castle, Dhaka, Bangladesh on September 15, 2019. Scientists from all South Asian Countries, and United Kingdom attended the workshop.

Organizing national workshop/training/stakeholders’ dialogues

  1. Organized ‘Climate Smart Agriculture Quest’ for the students of different agricultural universities in Bangladesh as an awareness raising program at BSMRAU on 28 November, 2023 under the Modeling Climate Change Impact on Bangladesh Agriculture (MCCA) project of Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF).
  2. Organized ‘Nitro Champ Competition 2023’ for BSMRAU students as an awareness raising program at BSMRAU on 16 August 2023 under the UKRI GCRF South Asian Nitrogen Hub.
  3. Organized a workshop entitled ‘Awareness raising campaign on use of nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture and climate change effect mitigation’ on 01 March 2023 at the Toke Narendra High School, Kapasia, Gazipur, Bangladesh.
  4. Organized a workshop entitled ‘Sustainable Fertilizer Management’ on December 22, 2021 as incentive for the farmers of Tuknagar village (Technology village of BSMARU) under the WP 2.2 of the GCRF South Asian Nitrogen Hub.
  5. Organized a five-day long hands-on training program on “Application of APSIM for Farming System Design and Decision Making” was held during November 29 – December 3, 2021 at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) under the sponsorship Modeling Climate Change Impact on Bangladesh Agriculture (MCCA) project, CRP II of Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF). There were altogether 10 participants in the training comprising 4 from BARI, 4 from Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI), 2 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU).
  6. Organized a five-day long hands-on training program on ‘GIS and Remote Sensing’ held during October 19-24, 2021 at Climate Change Research Lab of BSMRAU under the sponsorship Modeling Climate Change Impact on Bangladesh Agriculture (MCCA) project, CRP II of Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF). There were altogether 11 participants in the training comprising 4 from BARI, 3 from BRRI, 3 from BSMRAU and 1 from BAU.
  7. Organized a training program entitled ‘Mapping Above Ground Nitrogen of Aman Rice Using Proximal Sensing Data’ on September 21, 2021 for 11 Lecturer of BSMRAU under the GCRF South Asian Nitrogen Hub activities.
  8. Organized a stakeholders’ dialogue as a host on ‘Sustainable Nitrogen Management and Climate Change Effect Mitigation’ under the aegis of GCRF South Asian Nitrogen Hub, and MCCA, CRP II of KGF at the Auditorium of Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA), Cumilla on October 25, 2021. Farmers of Chandina upazila, scientists of BARI, BRRI, BINA, SRDI, BARD, and extension personnel of DAE, academicians of BSMRAU and SAU were attended the dialogue.
  9. Organized a Farmers’-Scientists dialogue as a host at Tuknagar, Kapasia, Gazipur, Bangladesh on the ‘Agricultural management options to address the effect of climate change’ on March 15, 2021 under the aegis of GCRF South Asian Nitrogen Hub, and MCCA, CRP II of KGF. Farmers of Tuknagar, scientists of BARI, BRRI, and extension personnel of DAE, academicians of BSMRAU were attended the dialogue.
