With expertise in the intersection of climate change, marine ecosystem, fisheries biology, and sustainable resource management, Dr. Mazumder is widely recognized in understanding how climate change affects aquatic biodiversity. His research focuses on the complex interactions between environmental shifts &#8211; such as ocean warming, acidification, and altered hydrological cycles &#8211; and the sustainability of global fisheries.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Gazipur Agricultural University, Dr. Mazumder served as an Associate Professor at the Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh, where he researched fish responses to environmental issues like global warming.\u00a0With over 70 peer-reviewed publications, more than 16 conference presentations, and two authored books, he is regarded as a leading scientist in his field.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to their academic and research achievements, Dr. Mazumder has been an active member of various professional organizations, including Fisheries Society of Bangladesh, International Society for Development &amp; Sustainability, Bangladesh Fisheries Research Forum, Bangladesh Ordnance Factory Golf Club.
