\"\" <\/a><\/strong>Mr. Md. Tanbir Rubayet<\/strong> was born on 1st<\/sup> July 1986 at the village of Borogaon under Thakurgaon Sadar upazila in Thakurgaon district of Bangladesh. Mr. Tanbir<\/strong> passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination from Kachari Bazar High School and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination from Thakurgaon Govt. College under the Rajshahi Board, Bangladesh in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Then, In 2009 and 2011 he completed Bachelor of Science in Agriculture [BS (Agriculture)] and Master of Science in Plant Pathology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Bangladesh and obtained the GPA 3.93 and 4.0,\u00a0 respectively out of 4 scales.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, Mr. Tanbir<\/strong> started his service in\u00a02013 as a Scientific Officer<\/em><\/span> (10 July 2013 to 22 February 2015<\/strong>) in the Rice Farming Systems Division, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI), <\/em>Gazipur-1701, Bangladesh, www.brri.gov.bd<\/a>. In 2015, he was appointed as a Lecturer<\/em><\/span> (23 February 2015 to 22 February 2017<\/strong>) in the Department of Plant Pathology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur-1706, Bangladesh. Then, he was promoted to Assistant Professor<\/em><\/span> in 2017 (23 February 2017 to 21 October 2022<\/strong>) and\u00a0Associate Professor<\/em><\/span> in the Department of Plant Pathology, BSMRAU, Bangladesh, in 2022 <\/strong>(22 October 2022 to date<\/strong>). Mr. Tanbir<\/strong> is currently undertaking PhD training on root lesion nematode resistance research in wheat at the Centre for Crop Health, University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba 4350, QLD, Australia, under study leave with full pay from 4 October 2023 to date<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Mr. Tanbir<\/strong> is a member of the Bangladesh Association for the Advancement of Science (BAAS), Bangladesh Phytopathological Society (BPS) and Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh (KIB).<\/p>\n
