Mr. Md. Zamil Uddin is an academic and researcher in the field of Irrigation and Water Management. He was born in Sadar Upazila of Pabna district, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering and his Masterβs degree in Irrigation and Water Management from Bangladesh Agricultural University. Before joining Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) as a lecturer, Mr. Uddin worked as an Assistant Director at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) in Cumilla, where he contributed to research and development initiatives focused on rural water management. At GAU, he is committed to providing students with a strong foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical applications. His research focuses on improving irrigation efficiency, evaluating groundwater resources, developing climate-informed water management strategies, and promoting sustainable water use in crop production systems.
