a) Ongoing research project:
- Conservation and improvement of indigenous naked neck chicken of Bangladesh. Financed by RMW, Gazipur Agricultural University, Gazipur, Bangladesh, July 2024 – June 2027.
- Nutritional evaluation of unconventional poultry feeds: Azolla pinnata, extruded eggshells, and Moringa oleifera leaves. Financed by UGC, Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh, July 2025-June 2026.
b) Completed research project:
1) Use of Moringa oleifera leaves in the diet of laying hens. Financed by the Ministry of science and technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka – 1000
2) Use of Azolla pinnata and Moringa oleifera leaves in the diet of broiler chickens funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
3) Investigation of morphological traits, availability and price of indigenous naked and full feathered chickens at different markets of Gazipur and Savar, Bangladesh financed by UGC through RMC of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Bangladesh.
4) Use of multivitamin, acidifier and Azolla in the diet of broiler chickens.
5) Effect of Azolla (Azolla pinnata) on growth performance and lipid profiles content of blood of broiler chickens.
6) Use of Azolla (Azolla pinnata) in the diet of laying hen.
7) Use of Spirulina and Bacillus subtilis probiotics in the diet of broiler chickens.
8) Use of extruded eggshell as a calcium source substituting limestone or oyster shell in the diet of laying hens.
