Asif Reza Anik is a member of the academic staff of the Department of Agricultural Economics at Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU), Bangladesh. Prior to this he served Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), Bangladesh. He holds a doctoral degree from Justus-Liebig-Universität, Giessen, Germany and a Master’s degree from the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. In his PhD research he focused on the impact of corruption on farm households in Bangladesh. He has published around 40 scholarly papers in reputable journals and presented his research findings in different national and international conferences. He also contributed in three book chapters. In addition, he contributed to various studies and projects.

Research Focus

Efficiency and Productivity Analysis, Agricultural Governance, Climate Change Adaptation, Sustainable Livelihoods, Poverty and Inequality.
