It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Outreach Center of Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) a strategic platform dedicated to translating science into solutions, research into resilience, and innovation into inclusive impact.

As one of the three foundational pillars of GAU, alongside Research and Academics, the Outreach Center plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the university’s research excellence and the needs of farmers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and communities across Bangladesh. In an era marked by climate uncertainty, food system challenges, and rural transformation, the Outreach Center functions as a catalyst for knowledge exchange, participatory innovation, and community empowerment.

Through year-round training programs, capacity-building workshops, collaborative extension projects, and technology dissemination initiatives, we work tirelessly to ensure that the knowledge generated within our university reaches the last mile where it matters most.

Our Outreach activities span a diverse range of sectors, including precision agriculture and integrated pest management, smart seed and soil technologies, horticultural innovations and postharvest solutions, climate-smart farming systems, as well as agri-entrepreneurship and digital extension services.

The Center also provides key facilities including well-equipped seminar rooms, guest accommodations for national and international collaborators, and access to critical institutional services such as banks, retail spaces, and training halls, forming a comprehensive support ecosystem for research-extension collaboration.

We are proud to serve not just as a university unit, but as a national resource hub contributing to Bangladesh’s sustainable agricultural transformation.
