Mousumi Saha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery and Radiology at Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU), Bangladesh. With five years of teaching experience, she has played an active role in both undergraduate and postgraduate education.

She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Gazipur Agricultural University (formerly BSMRAU), graduating with First Class and securing 2nd position with a CGPA of 3.89 out of 4.00. She completed her Master’s degree at Bangladesh Agricultural University, where she achieved First Class First position with a CGPA of 3.96 out of 4.00.

Mousumi’s research focuses on veterinary physiology, transfusion medicine, and regenerative medicine, particularly in the areas of skin, bone, and soft tissue repair. As both Principal Investigator and Associate Investigator, she has successfully led several university-funded and government-funded research projects. She has also presented her work at international conferences and academic institutions.

In addition, she has completed several professional training programs and remains actively involved in professional organizations, including the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB), the Bangladesh Veterinary Council (BVC), and the Bangladesh Veterinary Association (BVA).

Through her academic contributions, research endeavors, and professional service, Mousumi has established herself as a dedicated scholar and veterinary professional, committed to advancing education and research in veterinary science in Bangladesh.
