Tanjima Akter is a faculty member of the Department of Agricultural Finance and Cooperatives under the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU), Gazipur-1706, Bangladesh. She has accomplished her M.S. in Agricultural Economics (Finance) degree from the Department of Agricultural Finance and Banking of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh-2202, Bangladesh. The Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, awarded her the esteemed National Science and Technology Fellowship (NST) in recognition of her academic achievements to conduct her research in M.S. Earlier, she obtained her B. Sc. Ag. Econ. (Hons.) degree from the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology of BAU. She has demonstrated outstanding excellence throughout her academic journey. She achieved remarkable results in both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies that reflect her strong dedication, sincerity, and knowledgeable actions. At the beginning of her professional life, she joined as a lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Finance, Cooperatives and Banking of Khulna Agricultural University (KAU), Khulna-9100, Bangladesh. She worked there from 22.11.2020 to 04.06.2024 as a lecturer and then an assistant professor. She joined as an assistant professor at GAU on 05.06.2024. Currently, she is serving as a principal investigator of a research project funded by the Research Management Wing, GAU. She is a member of Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) and Bangladesh Agricultural Economists Association (BAEA).
