Uttam Kumar Ghosh has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy at Gazipur Agricultural University, Gazipur. He obtained his BS in Agriculture (2012) and MS in Agronomy (2015) from Gazipur Agricultural University (formerly Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University). He teaches undergraduate courses including Fundamentals of Cereal Crop Production, Fundamentals of Crop Production, and Introductory Agronomy. His research specializes in agronomy, with a focus on plant abiotic stress (drought, salinity, and heavy metals), and crop improvement. He is particularly interested in promoting agricultural sustainability through genotype × environment interactions, stability analysis, stress physiology, and modern agronomic practices. He currently leads several research projects on plant abiotic stress, with particular emphasis on drought and heat stress.
