Research achievement in BARI (1995-2004)

  • Involved in the development of hybrid Maize and QPM varieties, and four hybrid maize varieties namely BARI hybrid maize 1, BARI hybrid Maize 2, BARI hybrid Maize 3, BARI Top Cross hybrid maize 1 and one sweet corn varieties. The details are mentioned below.

Technology transfer activities

  • Actively Involve in seed production of BU papaya 1, BU papaya 2, BU papaya 3 BU papaya 4 BU Aromatic Hybrid Dhan 1 and BU Dhan 2
  • Actively involve in the diversified research activities related to crop improvement of cereal, grain legumes and vegetable crops.
  •  Involved in seed production to popularize BARI developed maize varieties throughout the country.
  • Involved in Maize whole family training to the extension workers and farmers on hybrid maize cultivation and seed production collaboration with BARI, CIMMYT-Bangladesh and BADC.
  • Delivered lectures and presented papers on maize technologies as a `Resource speaker’ in different training, field days, farmers rally and workshops and organized several training programs for farmers, Block Supervisors, GO and NGO personnel to transfer maize technologies.
