SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

  • Under several projects with Japanese counterparts, I reached many farmers and local people and performed various social activities.
  • I serve on many committees of BSMRAU related to social activities, particularly the Outreach program. I am active with social media and provide technical know-how to farmers.

 

OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

  • Helped Yukiguni Maitake Company develop business in Bangladesh. I did research on quality green bean (Mungbean) for sprout (Moyashi). At present, more than 100 tons of Mungbean are being exported to Japan.
  • Supported Euglena and Maruhisa Companies to produce quality mungbean, sesame, and sweet potato for Japan.
  • Worked closely in the IGPF project for Income Generation, which was implemented by Kyushu University. I served as the representative from BSMRAU. The project was funded by JICA.
  • Working closely with several Professors of the Faculty of Design and the Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Kyushu University.
