The call for summer 2024 term admission to the MS in Agricultural Economics program has been published.

Eligibility:
Candidates for admission to a MS Program must have a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural discipline or DVM
from BSMRAU with a minimum GPA 2.50 (out of 4.00) or an equivalent degree with a minimum GPA 2.50 (out of 4.00) or second class from a recognized university or institution. It is noted that students will be admitted subject to availability of seats.

Application form, guidelines for admission and a Graduate Catalogue may be collected from the academic section of the university in between 18/11/2024 to 03/12/2024 during office time.

Application form may also be downloaded here. A duly filled in application form should be submitted to the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies within the specified time (on or before 03/12/2024) along with a bank receipt of Tk 500/- (Five hundred) deposited in account number SND 0219636000036 Sonali Bank, BSMRAU branch, Gazipur from any branch of Sonali Bank Limited. Foreign students may deposit USD 20 (Twenty Dollar) in account number SND 0219636000036 Sonali Bank, BSMRAU branch through SWIFT CODE- BSONBDDH-WEB Routing No. 200330370 and evidence of money deposit must be attached along with the application form.

Attested copy of certificates/documents to be submitted along with the application form.

• Two copies of recent passport size photograph.
• Certificate & Mark sheet/Transcript of SSC, HSC, Bachelor & Masters degree (for PhD program).
• Photocopy of National ID card for Bangladeshi students and photocopy of Passport for foreign students.
• Testimonial from the head of the institute last attended.
• Receipt copy of deposited money.
• Application with illegible, incomplete and wrong information and that received after the scheduled date shall directly be cancelled.
• Student from other universities should submit character certificate from the Dean/Registrar of his/her university with application.
• Original certificates of the documents submitted along with the application form must be produced at the time of admission.

Merit scholarships will be awarded based on departmental merit to a considerable number of MS students @ Tk 2,000/- (Two thousand) per month in each Term.

• Students having disciplinary allegation will not be considered for admission.
• Seat will be allotted in hall to the students based on the availability.
• Number of department wise seat will be finalized by the admission committee.
