Dr. Nahid is a food engineer and data scientist, and he has pursued his passion to understand the complex behavior of fresh fruits and vegetables via academia. He thrives the best in the area, where practical problems meet theoretical challenges in determining and predicting quality, extending shelf life, and reducing food waste.

He is currently working as an assistant professor at the department of Food Engineering, GAU. His research focuses on ensuring food security, through reducing food waste and thus contributing towards a green world. His competencies lie within food and nutrition, fuctional food, food analysis, quality assurance, quality control, optimization, big data handling, system biology, chemometrics, statistical and dynamic mathematical modeling.
