✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • MS applicants must have a 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 2.75 or 2nd Class.
  • PhD applicants must have an MS degree in the relevant field from a recognized university, with a strong academic and research background.
  • Foreign applicants are encouraged to submit English language proficiency scores (IELTS/TOEFL).

💰 Tuition & Fees

  • Foreign Student Payment: Foreign students may deposit USD 20 (Twenty Dollar) in account number SND 0219636000036, Sonali Bank, BSMRAU Branch through SWIFT CODE: BSONBDDH-WEB, Routing No: 200330370.
    The evidence of money deposit must be attached along with the application form.

🧾 Application Process

  • Apply online via the Graduate Studies Portal.
  • Attach scanned copies of all required documents and photographs.
  • Application must be submitted before the deadline. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will be rejected.
  • Foreign students may apply for admission at any time. For assistance, contact the Director (International Affairs) at diria@gau.edu.bd.

📎 Required Documents

  • Two recent passport-sized photographs
  • Certificates & transcripts of SSC, HSC, Bachelor’s, and MS (for PhD applicants)
  • National ID (Bangladeshi) or Passport (foreign students)
  • Testimonial from last attended institution
  • Deposit receipt of application fee
  • Character certificate from Dean/Registrar if coming from other universities

Note: Original documents must be shown during admission. Applications with illegible, incomplete, or false information will be cancelled.

🎓 Scholarships and Seats

  • PhD Scholarships: Tk 5,000/month based on departmental merit
  • MS Scholarships: Tk 2,000/month for a considerable number of students
  • Seats in student halls will be allotted based on availability
  • Students with disciplinary allegations will not be considered
  • Department-wise seat numbers will be finalized by the admission committee
